Here I have collected images, mostly very early ones, that were not part of a series, but rather the result of a short concept, a visual idea or a request. Some of them had their beginnings as a series of several pieces, and then, over the years, were left alone as the weaker pieces fell by the wayside. The pictorial problems of the early years with photography recur in my later work: The interweaving of land art or performance art and photography, and the post-processing of images using analogue methods, is something I am always interested in. It feels good to go back to old images, to rediscover a question that, after many years, can be approached with renewed attention, a new set of visual tools and life experiences gained since then.
